Hogo Salsa is a rich, stewed, white wine infused tomato salsa. Great for dipping or used as a base for paella, pasta sauce, and soups.
Canned Tomatoes (Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Salt, Calcium Chloride and Citric Acid), Tomato Paste, Onion, Minced Garlic (Water, Garlic, Citric Acid), White Wine, Chili Flakes, Oregano, Olive Oil, Bay Leaf, Kosher Salt, Pepper
Delicious and rich to use as a base for your sauces, here we just used the Hogo Salsa straight up on pasta! (No need to add any additional herbs or spices but if you are wanting a bit more heat you can always add some of our Ouch! Hot Sauce.)
- Cook your favourite pasta on the stovetop (we prefer spaghetti al dente).
- On the side in a separate pot we heated the Hogo Salsa.
- Plate the pasta and then the Hogo Salsa.
- We finished off the dish with freshly shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano.
